Notes for the last meeting:
The People have been forced
to suffer and eat $hit.
Rightfully they are upset.
We were running a bit late with The Chiefs.
We came in and heard Martial Haprov from the MDAQMD speaking to people through zoom.
The People ask questions and state concerns
The rep(s) say
We know of toxins but not all of them & blah blah blah it’s not our jurisdiction etc you talk guys should talk to blah blah blah…. But essentially as they said in their own words
“OUR MAIN CONCERN IS MAKING MONEY THROUGH SYNAGRO”
So all this translates to:
“We know you all are suffering but we don’t care we’re loyal to money.”
So The Chiefs and others wanted to speak but were not able to. I did miss the parts personally where Chief spoke due to walking out with Baby cause it’s a bit hot in the Community Center. But I don’t think Chief got to say all he had to say. (I will ask The Chief’s what they said to update this post later.)
